Pakistan Terrorism: How Operation Sindoor Shook Pakistan’s Economy and Military in 2025

Pakistan terrorism: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Thursday that Islamabad utilized terrorism as a weapon against India because it could never win a fair war and that Pakistan and its economy would have to pay a high price for each terrorist incident.

Speaking at a public gathering in Palana, Rajasthan, which is around 20 kilometers from Bikaner on the Indo-Pak border, Prime Minister Modi further stated that there was no room for negotiations with Pakistan and that Pakistan will not receive any water from rivers that India owns.

At his first public meeting in Rajasthan following Operation Sindoor, the pre-dawn strikes carried out by Indian armed forces in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7 in response to the May 22 Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 lives, Prime Minister Modi declared, “Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price for every terrorist attack… Pakistan’s army will pay it, Pakistan’s economy will pay it.”

According to Prime Minister Modi, Operation Sindoor is the epitome of a new India that would go after the root causes of terrorism and hold terrorists and those who support them accountable for the deaths of Indians.

The 140 crore folks’ hearts were wounded by the bullets that were fired at Pahalgam. We promised to bring the terrorists to justice. We carried out our determination with your blessings and the bravery of our military,” he stated.

He declared, “The world and the nation’s enemies have witnessed what happens when’sindoor’ (vermilion) transforms into ‘barood’ (gunpowder).”

According to PM Modi, Pakistan was brought to its knees by the military forces, who were allowed complete autonomy. “In just twenty-two minutes, we destroyed the terrorist bases of those responsible for the April 22 attack.”

He claimed that rather than being retaliation, Operation Sindoor was a fresh expression of justice and the personification of the new India. As part of India’s new strategy to combat terrorism, he declared, “First we took the attack to their home… now we strike them outright.”

India would first respond appropriately to any act of terrorism. Our military forces will decide the time, location, and style, and we will provide the guidelines. Third, India will not distinguish between regimes that encourage terrorism and terrorist masterminds. Second, India has called the nuclear bluff and will not be intimidated. He declared, “Pakistan’s bogey of state and non-state actors will no longer work.”

Operation Sindoor: A Decisive Response to Pakistan Terrorism

Modi emphasized that India has taken the initiative to bring Pakistan to the attention of the world and mentioned the nine delegations of MPs and foreign policy specialists that would go to various nations to inform the world about Pakistan’s situation.

PM Modi said that Pakistan attempted to bomb Bikaner’s Nal Air Force facility, where he had landed from Delhi, during the fighting that followed India’s May 7 strikes.

Pakistan attempted to strike this airfield as well, but they were unable to do so. On the opposite side of the border sits the Rahim Yar Khan airfield. It’s in the intensive care unit. Uncertain about the opening date? This air base has been destroyed by Indian forces.
