Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025: Jay Fai’s legendary dish continues to attract foodies from around the world to her bustling Bangkok street stall.

In a flavorful adventure, an Indian YouTuber tried the Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025, paying ₹3,500 for the legendary dish at a famous street stall. Describing it as an “unforgettable moment,” the content creator shared his reaction in a video that’s now going viral.

After spending ₹3,500 on a single Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025 at a modest street-side restaurant in Bangkok, Indian food vlogger Dasaraj Centhamil Tarun was stunned. Featured in the YouTube video by DCT Eats, Tarun visited the legendary Raan Jay Fai to taste their world-famous crab omelette, a dish that continues to intrigue food lovers globally.

People go from all over the world to wait in line outside the modest stall and savor the restaurant’s delectable offerings since it is so well-known. The restaurant is so well-liked, according to Tarun, that servers take your order while you are in line, before you are even seated.

In the viral Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025 experience, all the food is cooked by legendary chef Jay Fai — the 81-year-old culinary icon known for donning ski goggles while working solo in her modest street-side kitchen. Despite securing a seat at the famous stall, the Indian YouTuber had to wait over 30 minutes and still couldn’t get the dish, highlighting the overwhelming demand for this Michelin-starred marvel.

After a long wait, the much-anticipated Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025 finally landed on Tarun’s table. Staring at the golden, deep-fried roll of egg, he couldn’t help but ask, “Why is it so big and so expensive?”—a question echoed by many who are curious about this street-side luxury.

However, the doubt vanished as soon as he tasted his first bite. “A huge omelette with crab inside that costs ₹3,500! With the softest crab meat and a flawlessly cooked omelette, every bite was a burst of sweetness and succulence. It’s a memorable dining experience and the pinnacle of luxury. Is it expensive? Indeed. Is it worthwhile? “Yes,” he said.

Michelin star for food stall

Raan Jay Fai, which translates to “Jay Fai’s shop,” is a tiny restaurant in Bangkok that became the only street restaurant in Thailand to receive a Michelin star in 2018.

Following the global fame of the Michelin-Star Omelette Bangkok 2025, a surge of customers overwhelmed the humble street stall, prompting the implementation of a reservation-only system. Notably, in 2021, the eatery was honoured with Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Icon Award.

The restaurant’s 81-year-old cook, Jay Fai, who has never written down a recipe and wears ski goggles, has stated that she has made the decision to never retire but does not plan to pass on the business.
