Haj 2025 Telangana Visa Ban: 37 Child Applications Cancelled After Saudi Restriction

Hyderabad: In reaction to Saudi Arabia’s decision to stop giving visas for youngsters going with their parents, the Indian Haj committee has canceled applications for children under the age of 12 for the 2025 Haj.

This has led to the cancellation of 37 Telangana applications for children under the age of twelve. The Haj Committee attested to the fact that the entire deposit will be reimbursed. A total of 291 children in India whose petitions were denied are impacted by this judgment.

The commission did clarify, though, that other pilgrims in these petitions are free to continue with their planned Haj. By Monday, April 14, anyone who would like to cancel their applications, in whole or in part, can do so via the Haj Committee of India website, the Haj Suvidha app, or in person at the state Haj committee office.

Cancellations made before this date will not incur any charges. After April 14, cancellation charges will be applied as per official guidelines.
