Delhi Bhindi Samosa: The Latest Viral Food Sensation Taking Over Social Media
In a world full of bizarre food combinations, Delhi bhindi samosa has become the newest internet sensation. This unexpected mix of traditional samosas filled with spiced okra (bhindi) has intrigued food enthusiasts, leading to countless discussions and reactions online.
Right when the world was recovering from KFC’s fried chicken-flavored toothpaste, a weird food combination that originated in Delhi has taken over social media. Delhi bhindi samosa, a new twist on the beloved Indian snack, is quickly becoming a viral sensation. The viral video shows the samosa being stuffed with a filling of ladies finger (bhindi) instead of the traditional potato, sparking a mix of curiosity and confusion among food lovers.
“Samose toh bhot type ke khaye hai aap logo ne kya kabhi khaya hai Bhindi Samosa” (You must have tried various sorts of samosas, but have you tried ladies finger samosa) was the discovery made by a food blogger who posted the video on Instagram.
The video left social media users bewildered. Most appeared to be put off by the idea of having ladies finger replace potato as the filling in the Delhi bhindi samosa. One Instagram user commented, “Why do they take everything good in life and make it bad?” Another user wrote, “Stop this! You’re stuffing with anything now. Let samosa be samosa.” Some people seemed fed up with these food experiments. One of them wrote, “In a few days, we will get to see brinjal samosa, rice and dal samosa, and khichdi samosa.”
A Gujarati shopkeeper served butter-fried pav with ice cream to its patrons last year. Trivedi Mayur, a culinary YouTuber from Ahmedabad, shot a video of the dish being prepared, and it went viral.
The video left watchers bewildered.
“Pure Gujrati samaj ki taraf se me mafi mangta hu bhayo behno [Brothers and sisters, I apologise to you on behalf of the entire Gujarati community],” wrote an Instagram user, expressing disbelief over the Delhi bhindi samosa trend. Another user chimed in, saying, “Why ruin the ice-cream?” Complaints continued to pour in as many people voiced their frustration with this unconventional food experiment.
