Yadadri Railway Station Upgrade to Enhance Pilgrimage Connectivity

Connectivity to Yadadri, a famous pilgrimage site in Telangana, is set to improve further. The modernization work of the railway station here is in full swing. If these works are completed, there are chances that additional train services will be available like Cherlapalli than the current ones.

Expansion of Telangana’s Railway Infrastructure Under Amrit Bharat Scheme

Under Amrit Bharat, the Center has already decided to develop railway stations like Malakpet, Mahabubnagar, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Malkajgiri, Mudkhed, Adilabad, Ramagundam, Karimnagar, Mahabubabad, Hitech City, Hafizpet, Zaheerabad, Tandur, Bhadrachalam Road, Huppuguda, Yadadri, Ghazipet Junction, Madhira.. in Telangana.

Funding and Progress of Yadadri Railway Station Development

In the first phase, the respective railway stations will be developed by the concerned ministry. For this, a maximum of Rs 25 crore has been allocated for each railway station. Based on this, the work there is going on actively. As part of this, Rs 24.45 crore has been allocated for the development of cherlapalli station. Union Minister G Kishan Reddy shared the progress of the work related to this on his official X account. He posted photos of the sheds under construction on the platform. He revealed that 38 percent of the work has been completed so far. He said that the construction of the platform columns has been completed. He explained that the station building and additional platforms are under construction.

Secunderabad Railway Station Undergoing ₹700 Crore Modernization

It is known that Secunderabad Railway Station is also being reconstructed under the same Amrit Bharat scheme. These works are ongoing at a cost of Rs 700 crore. They will be completed in three phases. This station will be reconstructed on the lines of an airport according to the needs of passengers for the next 40 years.
